Manage your payment methods

Accepted Payment Methods

HejShell supports various payment methods.

Credit/Debit Cards

Visa, Mastercard, and local cards supported

PayPal

Pay with your PayPal account

Adding a Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription > Payment Methods
  2. Click 'Add Payment Method'
  3. Select payment type
  4. Enter card info or PayPal account
  5. Save

Updating Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription > Payment Methods
  2. Click 'Change' next to current payment method
  3. Enter new payment info
  4. Save

💡 Tip

Update your payment method before your card expires to avoid service interruption.

Billing Cycle

Subscriptions renew monthly or annually.

Billing Dates

  • Billed on the same day each month based on first payment date
  • For months without that date, billed on the last day (e.g., 31st → 28th)

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. We send an email reminder 3 days before renewal.

Receipts and Invoices

All payment history can be viewed and downloaded in the app.

How to Access Receipts

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription > Payment History
  2. Select the desired payment record
  3. Click 'Download Receipt'

Receipt Contents

  • Payment date and amount
  • Payment method info (masked)
  • Subscription info
  • Tax info

Payment Failed

If a payment fails, you'll receive an email notification.

Common Causes

  • Insufficient card balance
  • Card expired
  • Card declined by issuer
  • Payment limit exceeded

Solutions

  1. Check payment method in Settings > Subscription
  2. Update card info or add a different card
  3. Click 'Retry' button

⚠️ Grace Period

You can continue using the service for 7 days after a payment failure. Please resolve the payment issue within this period.
