HejShell's AI Terminal Assistant is a powerful feature that recommends commands in natural language, analyzes errors, and helps with complex tasks.

How to Use
The AI assistant can be accessed directly from the terminal screen.
- Click the AI button (purple/blue gradient) at the bottom-right of the terminal
- Describe what you want in natural language in the AI panel that opens on the right
- Review and execute the AI-suggested command
- Use the chat interface to ask follow-up questions if needed
Ask the AI
You can ask the AI in the following ways in the AI panel.
Check current directory sizeRecommends a command to check disk usage
Find errors in nginx logGenerates a command to search for errors in log files
Fix this error: [error message]Analyzes the error message and suggests solutions
Create a backup scriptGenerates a shell script based on your requirements
Token System
AI features are provided on a token basis. Tokens automatically reset every 3 hours.

How Tokens Work
- Each AI request consumes tokens based on input and output length
- Tokens automatically reset to maximum every 3 hours
- Check remaining tokens in Settings > AI Tokens
- If you run out of tokens, wait for the next reset or upgrade your plan
